The Texas Bohemian

Word artist. Jack of all Trades.

Why I am “The Texas Bohemian”

Why do I call myself a “bohemian?”

Here’s the definition:

A descriptive term for a stereotypical way of life for artists and intellectuals. According to the stereotype, bohemians live in material poverty because they prefer their art or their learning to lesser goods; they are also unconventional in habits and dress, and sometimes in morals.

American Heritage New Dictionary of Cultural Literacy
I don’t exactly live in “material poverty” but only because of my particular situation at the moment.  I would choose my art and learning above “things” if I had to.  My habit, dress and morals are certainly unconventional.  I fit the definition.
