How does my garden grow?

Better, now that I have fenced it off. It’s not a pretty, picket fence. It’s effective. My kids and I with some assistance from my brother managed to get the chicken wire up and create a barrier to keep out varmints. So far, so good.

Here are some pictures of how far along the garden is.

The Beans and peas are doing well. Cucumbers are slow.

Fastest, most

impressive, are the pumpkin plants. They’re beautiful. We didn’t plant many of them. What would we do with a garden full of pumpkins? We don’t celebrate Halloween!

The tomato plants are doing well, too. A couple in the boxes on the front porch are wimpy.

On the growing rack I have teensy tomato plants breaking the soil and potato plants, maybe. Talk about slow progress there! Only one single green blade sticking out of the several planters where I planted spinach seed.

These are pictures of the progress.
